In some cases a plain background is used where neccessary to highlight the subject, but a detailed background can be incorporated if desired at a small additional cost. Multiple images can be incorporated into the larger sizes of paintings if required.
Paintings are supplied on canvas fixed over a wooden stretcher, but not framed. However, most canvases are sized to fit a range of commercially available frames.
